Car service website

Tsekh 66: a Yekaterinburg car service website with online booking

A demo website for Tsekh 66, a made-up car service in Yekaterinburg: a price list, repairs by brand, a service cost calculator and online booking.

Tsekh 66 home page: a poster with the White Tower and prices of the main jobs

The task

Customers call to ask what the 60,000 km service costs, and half of them never come. The price of the work should be visible in advance, and booking should not need a call.

What we built

  • Service cost calculator: car class, engine, gearbox, mileage, parts
  • Booking in three steps: car, job, time
  • 10 service pages and 9 brand pages with typical faults
  • 40 pages, Lighthouse 100 for every score on mobile

A made-up garage, real advice

Tsekh 66 does not exist. The name, history, equipment, number of bays, warranty terms and travel times from the districts were invented for the demo, and the address is only a district. Prices are approximate, taken from public price lists of Yekaterinburg garages in autumn 2026. The advice in the articles, the typical faults on the brand pages and the legal rules on tyres were checked against public sources.

Service cost calculator

The customer picks the car class, engine, gearbox, mileage and parts: aftermarket or original. The site shows a table of what this service includes, labour and parts separately, the price range and the time on the lift. The button under the result opens booking with the job already selected.

Booking without a call

Booking takes three steps: car, job, time. The form checks the fields and then shows what the booking would look like. In the demo that is where it stops. A working version would send the request to the mechanic in Telegram or to the garage’s CRM. How such a site is built and what else goes into it is on the car service website page.

Ural constructivism

The site is a 1920s propaganda poster on a concrete wall of Uralmash: concrete, a black beam and a red wedge, sharp corners, slanted price tags. The first screen has the White Tower on a red circle. On a computer the navigation is a black rail on the left, its items numbered like workshop bays.

  • Almost every page has no JavaScript. The script loads only on booking and the calculator, after the text is already on screen.
  • Lighthouse on mobile: 100 for all four scores on all 15 tested pages. First screen in 1.2-1.4 s, a regular page weighs 44-50 KB.

Reminders about the booking and the seasonal tyre change fit well in a Telegram bot.
