Veterinary clinic website

Berezhno: a vet clinic website in Samara with a vaccination schedule

A demo website for Berezhno, a made-up 24-hour vet clinic in Samara: services, a vaccination schedule, emergency advice and booking.

The task

Owners of puppies and kittens call to ask when the next jab is due, and at night they search for where to take a sick pet. The site should answer both without a call.

What we built

  • Vaccination schedule: species and birth date give the dates and the next step
  • Emergency advice: what to do before arrival in seven common cases
  • Eight services with preparation, aftercare and a starting price
  • Six districts of Samara, each with its own topic

A made-up clinic, a real vaccination scheme

Berezhno does not exist. The address, history, vets, their biographies and the reviews were invented: the vets are drawn, and the reviews are marked as samples. Prices are approximate, the average level of Samara vet clinics in autumn 2026. The districts, villages and parks of Samara are real, and the general vaccination scheme follows the WSAVA 2024 guidelines and Russian rabies rules. The articles are for reference, with no doses and no prescriptions.

A vaccination schedule from the birth date

The owner picks the pet: kitten, puppy, rabbit, rodent or bird, and enters the birth date. The site builds the schedule: the vaccination dates, which are done, what comes next and when the quarantine ends. The calculation lives in one file with tests, and a 3-4 KB script runs it in the browser.

The emergency page starts with the phone number. It explains what to do before arrival in case of injury, bleeding, poisoning, seizures, heatstroke, a blocked bladder in a male cat and bloat in a large dog. The booking form checks the fields and answers on the page. What else a clinic website needs is on the veterinary clinic website page.

A sheet of bravery stickers

The style comes from the sheet of stickers a pet gets after a visit. Sections are pastel bands with a wave between them, cards look like white stickers with a slight tilt. A cat, a rabbit, a dog and a hamster peek over the edges of the blocks. On a phone the menu sits at the bottom under the thumb, and it always has an “Urgent” button.

  • 39 pages of static HTML, and SvelteKit sends no code at all to the browser.
  • Lighthouse on mobile: 100 for all four scores, first screen in 1.4-1.6 s, a page weighs 68-74 KB.

A reminder about the next vaccination fits a Telegram bot well: the date is already worked out on the site.
