Warehouse website Site format: operator console
Yarus: a Perm warehouse website built as a warehouse system operator console
A demo website for Yarus, a made-up warehouse in Perm, built as a warehouse system console: modules on the left, search with a command palette, status tiles, tables and tabs. Inside are a storage calculator and 14 articles for owners of goods.
The task
Half of our calls start the same way: what it costs to store a hundred pallets and how renting space differs from paying for storage. The site should answer that, work out the price, bring customers in from search and let a logistics manager find things as fast as in their own warehouse software.
What we built
- An operator console: modules on the left, a Ctrl+K command palette, status tiles
- Storage calculator: pallets or m², temperature, term, handling
- 14 articles in four sections, built on Yandex and Google suggestions
- 37 pages of 82-104 KB, Lighthouse on mobile 96-100
The site works like warehouse software, because logistics people live in it
A warehouse customer is a logistics manager or a goods owner who spends the day in a WMS and finds things faster in a familiar layout. So Yarus looks like an operator console. A column of modules lettered like rack rows runs down the left, from 00 Warehouse overview and A Rent to G Contacts, and the open module lists its pages with bin addresses such as B-01.
Ctrl+K, Cmd+K on a Mac, “/” or a click on the search field at the top opens a command palette with commands, sections, articles and common questions. Arrows choose, Enter opens, Esc closes.
Warehouse overview: status tiles and tabs
The home page shows “Warehouse now” tiles: free pallet places, busy docks, the dispatch cut-off, today’s receipts and the warm zone temperature. They are labelled as demo data, change every 2.6 seconds and stop with a Pause button. Below are section tabs that the left and right arrows switch, and the address follows, as in /#ceny. Inner pages have a sticky row of section tabs under the heading.
An ordinary website under the console
Every page is ready HTML with its own address, title and description. Without JavaScript the console turns into a document: search leads to the site map in the footer, the home tabs become links to sections that follow one another, and the tiles show build-time values. One console script, 3.7 KB gzipped, serves the whole site and starts after the first paint. On a phone a Modules button replaces the column, search runs full width and the tiles sit two to a row.
- Lighthouse on mobile, all 37 pages after the switch to the console: performance 96-100, the other scores 100.
- LCP 1.5-1.8 s, CLS 0, a page weighs 82-104 KB.
14 articles for questions people search
Local queries like “warehouse rent Perm” get few suggestions, general warehouse questions get many. So most search traffic should come from 14 articles of 1,300-1,800 words in four sections, on topics from Yandex and Google suggestions such as “warehouse classes table”. The facts were checked in October 2026 against chapters 47 and 48 of the Civil Code, Federal Law 402-FZ, FSBU 5/2019 and 28/2023 and GOST 33757-2016, and each article ends with its sources.
A made-up warehouse, real rules
Yarus does not exist. The company, buildings, rates and tile values were invented, every page says that no orders are taken, and the calculator and the form send nothing. How such a project is built is on the fulfilment website and transport company website pages. A neighbouring case is Rollgang, a fulfilment centre in Podolsk.
