Our own file sharing service: upload files, get a link to the folder. Photos, video and music open right in the browser.
The task
Clients and the studio need to send each other mockups, videos and archives with no sign-up, no mail limits and no third-party cloud.
What we built
- Upload many files or whole folders, up to 500 MB per file
- Photos, video and audio open without downloading
- Guest access with no sign-up, limits and a captcha against bots
- Files live in RustFS and go after 30 days without downloads
Why a studio needs its own file sharing
Clients send mockups, videos and archives, we send builds and demo recordings. Email cuts attachments, and other clouds ask for an account. Fileshai keeps it simple: upload, get a folder link, send it.
How it works
- Files upload in batches and whole folders, up to 500 MB each, with progress and resume.
- Photos, video and audio open in the browser, no download needed.
- Guests need no account, and limits and a captcha keep bots out.
- Storage is S3-compatible, and files nobody downloads go after 30 days.
