Law firm website with articles and a fee calculator
A website for a law firm or a solo lawyer, where a client reads an article about their problem and sees the price of the work.
The consultation request with the gist of the case arrives in your Telegram.
Every other call starts with “how much” and ends with “I’ll think about it”.
Clients come by recommendation and almost nobody from search: the website is five pages and a phone number.
I explain claim letters and court fees on the phone several times a week, always the same.
I am wary of writing too much on the website: a careless promise in an ad is my responsibility.
What we build
Services with prices
A page for each service: what it includes, what it costs, how long it takes and which documents to bring.
Articles for searches
Answers to the questions clients type into search. Each article has sources and the date it was checked.
Calculator
The court fee and the court route for a debt, or another calculation your practice needs.
Consultation booking
The client picks a topic and a time and describes the situation in a few lines. The request goes to Telegram.
Questions and answers
How the first meeting goes, what to bring, how to pay for the work.
Admin panel
You edit articles, services and prices in the browser. The “up to date as of” date changes when an article is edited.
In detail
What pages a law firm website needs
- A home page that says who you work with, businesses or private clients, and in which city. Someone searching for a business lawyer in their city should see that on the first screen.
- A page for each service: debt recovery, contracts, commercial disputes, registering and closing a company, tax audits. It shows what the work includes, the price or a range, the timing and the documents needed.
- Prices. A “from” figure beats “by agreement”: the client compares several websites and calls the one where the prices made sense.
- Articles that answer clients’ common questions. More on them below.
- A calculator, if your practice has something to calculate: court fees, penalties, deadlines, the route for recovering a debt.
- Consultation booking: the topic, a convenient time, a couple of lines about the situation and consent to personal data processing.
- About the firm: who handles the cases, their education, advocate status if they have it, company details. The client trusts a lawyer with money and documents and wants to know who is on the other side of the desk.
How much a law firm website costs
| What is included | Price | Time |
|---|---|---|
| Website with services, prices, questions and consultation requests to Telegram | from $190 | 1-2 weeks |
| Website with articles, a calculator, time slot booking and an admin panel | from $1,100 | 4-6 weeks |
| Telegram bot for consultation booking and reminders | from $125 | 1-2 weeks |
The price depends on the number of services, on whether there is a calculator and how many rules it has, and on how booking works. If the client leaves a request and you agree the time by phone, a simple website is enough. If the client picks a free slot with a particular lawyer, you need a server with a database and a schedule. An admin panel for articles, a CRM link and the articles themselves are estimated separately.
How it all fits together is visible in the demo of the Punkt law firm: 15 articles, services with prices and a debt collection cost estimate. From the size of the debt, the calculator picks a court order, the simplified procedure or a full hearing. Then it works out the state fee under Article 333.21 of the Tax Code. The project price is fixed before we start.
Why a lawyer’s website needs articles
People rarely search for a lawyer by city. Far more often they type the problem itself: how to recover a debt from a company, a sample claim letter for unpaid invoices, how to close an LLC with debts. They book a consultation with whoever answered that question clearly and correctly.
We take topics from Yandex and Google suggestions. We collect the queries around your services, group similar ones and write one article per group, each leading to a service page. Facts are checked against the current text of codes and laws and against the websites of government bodies and courts. Each article ends with a list of primary sources and an “up to date as of” date. You read every article before it goes live, because the lawyer answers for the legal substance.
Articles are estimated separately, by number and length. 12-16 articles add 1-2 weeks to the schedule. When the law changes, the article is updated along with its date. Accounting firm websites are built the same way, with articles on taxes and reporting.
How people find a law firm in search
Searches come in two kinds. Short ones with a city: “lawyer Tyumen”, “legal services Tyumen prices”, “closing an LLC Tyumen”. And long ones about the task, without a city: “court order arbitration court up to what amount”, “arbitration court fee calculator”. Service and price pages answer the first kind, articles and calculators the second. We start building a law firm website from this map of queries.
- A separate page for each service, with the city in the page title and the h1, for example “Debt recovery from companies in Tyumen”.
- Prices as text on each service page and on a general price page.
- Links from articles to services: from the article on claim letters the reader moves on to debt recovery.
- The year in the title where people search with it, such as “arbitration court fee 2026”, and the date the facts were checked in the text.
- Yandex Business and 2GIS cards with a link to the website and the office address.
- Schema.org markup for articles and breadcrumbs, plus LegalService for a firm with a real address.
- Fast loading on a phone. In the demo a page weighs 90-95 KB.
We do not promise rankings or timeframes: they depend on competitors in your city and on how many articles and service pages the website has.
Where to start
- Describe in your own words what cases you take, for whom and how you price the work. No formal spec needed.
- We estimate the complexity and fix the price before we start. Anything beyond the agreement is estimated separately.
- We show a demo with about 40% of the functionality, and you pay only after it. The reasons are in why we take payment after the demo.
- Then the launch. You get the code and access, and for a month after launch we fix texts, colours and pictures for free.
Reminders about a consultation fit well in a booking bot. You can describe the task in the request form.
Russian advertising law (38-FZ, Article 5) requires advertising to be truthful, and the outcome of a case is up to the court. Phrases like “we will win your case” or “debt recovered, 100% guaranteed” may be found misleading, so the website does not use them. For advocates the bar’s code of professional ethics also forbids promising a client a favourable outcome (Article 10, clause 2). The booking form collects a name, a phone number and a description of the situation, which is personal data. Under law 152-FZ the website needs a privacy policy and a consent checkbox in the form. We add both from the start.
What it looks like
Punkt is a demo law firm for small businesses in Tyumen, and the whole site is built as one legal document: a clause tree on the left, text search, footnotes with sources in popups and “Download PDF”. Inside are 15 articles for owners of small companies and a state fee estimate from the size of a debt. The firm is made up, the law and the fee scale are real.

Questions
Who writes the articles, you or us?
Whichever suits you. We can collect topics from search suggestions and write the articles for you to check as a lawyer, or lay out texts you already have. Articles are estimated separately, by number and length.
Can we show client reviews?
Yes, if the reviews are real and the client agrees to publication. A link to your card on Yandex Maps or 2GIS, where clients write reviews themselves, is more reliable. We do not put made-up reviews on a website.
Will this work for an advocate?
Yes, a website for an advocate is built the same way. The Russian bar’s code of professional ethics does not allow an advocate to promise a client a favourable outcome, so the texts make no such promises.
What about hosting and the domain?
The server and the domain are registered in your name, and you pay the provider directly. A lawyer’s website runs fine on an inexpensive server, and we help you pick one.
How will clients find the website?
Service pages with the city, prices in plain text and articles for real searches come with the website, and we add the link to your Yandex Business and 2GIS cards. We do not promise rankings.
